I'm with you. I would take a WAG that his IQ is about 125. Which is the same as the best estimate I have seen of George W. Bush's.
I have always seen Obama as bright, but not unusually so. Above average, sure.
That sounds about right.
You probably have to be above average to get into the Senate, and he's that for sure.
But among people who've gotten as far as he has, Obama's probably not a shining light.
