Well, as "The People" awaken from their stupor, yawn, stretch, scratch, shake the cobwebs out and look around to see what our representatives have been doing to the country, they will most certainly effect "change". Question is, will it be soon enough to stop the train wreck. Odinga and his fellow travelers have us on a fast track to a totalitarian state, and IMHO, there may be some things put in place that will be difficult if not impossible to undo once they're set in motion. So, it may come down to timing, and like the Boy Scouts are wont to say, "Be prepared."
Thomas Jefferson had a timeless take on it:
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."
How many can see? Our people have been damaged. They’re being churned out by our schools as loyal little communists who plug their ears and sing “la la” when they’re told the truth because they’ve been taught what to think instead of how to think. They no longer study the true version of the founding of the country. They no longer know the Constitution. Even when I was in school, the founding documents were glossed over, not studied in any depth at all. I doubt the schools today even mention it in a positive light at all.
On a fast-track to totalitarianism? We’re already living under the communist manifesto.
