Last night, FOX News host Sean Hannity looked at Daren Briscoe, a Newsweek correspondent who just left the magazine to work at the Obama White House. Briscoe’s new title is Deputy Associate Director of Public Affairs for the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Briscoe was “embedded” with Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and penned Newsweek’s book about the historic event, entitled A Long Time Coming.
Briscoe is only the latest mainstream journalist to make the switch from “hack” to “flack.”

Sounds like the beginnings of a media bailout. What a great way to save the best and brightest from the flailing NYT, Slimes, and elsewhere.
And now he is being rewarded for supressing Obama truths and creating Obama fluff. Obama is creating commie media, soon to replace all the media that is forced out of business.
Newsweek has become such a tool of the Democrat Party that no one who works there can credibly call themselves a journalist. Propagandist, yes. Journalist, no. This guy is just moving his computer monitor to a new desk.
I look at newsweek in my break room at work and I have never seen such a piece of SH!! mag. No objectivity,hate the right all the time.. It is not worth being my TOILET PAPER!!!!!!!!
