There is an Obama quote from Dreams of My Father that I've heard played few times:

It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks' greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere... That's the world! On which hope sits!"

Obama's view of the USA is much like an envious and resentful Third Worlder, with some black liberation theology mixed in. Whether he is a racist is one question, but he is showing himself to be race obsessed, not a good think for a president, or anyone in a leadership position. We'll probably see more of this come out from time-to-time.

He does seem to believe that poor nations are poor because of the affluent nations, and vice versa. Quite an idiotic and self-serving notion.
