Demons put this off I am sure. This is why we need all of the liberals in one place, they will kill us with their mere flatulance.

I find this very interesting and very funny at the same time. The South Coast air basin is THE MOST heavily regulated air “quality” area in the world. The jacka$$es in the CARB and the South Coast Air boards have tightened regulations over they years to the point where the emissions are minimal but they still do not have a clue about where 400,000 tons of evil methane are coming from. that is some funny $hit.

So, all those artsy-fartsy people in the greater LA area aren’t nearly so artsy after all.

Swamp Gas??? You boomers out there might recall that UFOs of the '60s were blamed on 'swamp gas', the release of methane in swamps which supposedly would glow in the dark.
It is similar to the methane that is also found on Jupiter's moons. It all is obviously caused by humans and can only be reduced by more government regulations..

1). What makes CH4 “25 times more powerful” than CO2?
2). Note that this is LA, home to a vast herd of eco-elitists who never weary of shaming the world for its indifference to the environment, all the while living in a city that is to the environment what the H-Bomb was to Bikini Atoll.

Los Angeles used to have significant oil production. My guess is that there are still natural seeps all over the basin, just as there are oil seeps up and down the California coast. When Juan Cabrillo first saw that coast, he described the rocks along Santa Barbara as black with oil.
Drilling the oil reduces the seeps BTW.

Gee, the mecca of the ‘green’ movement has more methane than estimated? A lot of jokes come to mind. Maybe it’s the La Brea tar pits, and they can relax.

No mystery here, all those illegals eating bean burritos is bound to increase the methane level of LA.

Someone needs to check the rising sales of frijoles refritos in the LA Basin over the past decades. There may be a correlation.

If it's coming from a few potent leaks, one could hope to put a plug in it, this stuff is valuable.
Put a big suction pipe over LA City Hall...Probably be enough to heat Canada in the winter.
