As someone who posted on Free Republic stated better than I, the President of the United States controls the hyper-power of the planet. For the SRM or Congress to not vet his eligibility for the job would be completely irresponsible. Something akin to say, not reading a trillion dollar health care bill, or perhaps, a multi-trillion dollar cap and trade bill.
