The very fact that they have officially changed the official name of the Certification of Live Birth to Certificate of Live Birth proves that there is all sorts of political pressure being exerted on the DoH.
Remember, States such as Oklahoma are going to require Presidential candidates to submit certified copies of their original birth certificates.
All this name changing is specifically designed to circumvent those measures.

If an official investigation into Obama’s birth certificate is launched, it MIGHT keep him from getting re-elected a second term. Thing is, wouldn’t it be led by democrats? So why bother?
When I was In Vietnam I was awarded 3 Army Commendation medals with 2 “V” devices.
After I arrived home, a town outside Omaha, my mother kept a scrapbook, including photos I sent.
In the scrap book I saw a newspaper article (year 1969). The small headline stated “Tank man turns medic, saves Wounded”, the article stated I was awarded a Bronze Star with “V”.
I was never awarded a Bronze Star. This is mentioned because of the Obama 1961 birth announcement recently found in a Hawaii paper.
Dont always believe what you read in newspapers.

Great summary but wrong on one legal point. If Obamas mother was unwed at the time of birth she would have conferred citizenship regardless of where she was and where he was born. It is part of the law in effect then.
If I had the money I would buy a full page in the New york Times and have this whole report and credit to the author placed there. Any bets on whether the NYTimes would print it?

Really, the only fact I need to know is the lengths to which Obama has gone to keep this document - if it exists - a secret.
All the liberals who said every word out of Bush’s mouth was a lie are now lining up to take the word of a Hawiian government official on Obama’s birth certificate - even though the statement says less than it appears to on first glance - even though releasing the document SHOULD be a very simple matter.
Experts and officials said Saddam hid WMDs in Syria too. Maybe the media should take that as settling the matter as well. After all, it’s a lot easier to release one document in Hawaii than to search the territory of a hostile foreign power.
