Wednesday intel briefing:

MSM will drop bombshell that Davis is Obamas daddy, it was a coverup all along.

Regardless if this true or not we need to treat this with some reservation as its tactically advantageous for the left right now to actually release real information, they assume that even if the truth comes out nobody will believe it and they can further spin the “birther” crazy right wing angles.

Good info. I am suspicious of everything 0bama.

But the Saul Alinsky tactics are complete in silencing this issue.

If anyone dares speak of it you are labeled a BIRTHER and crazy.

First of all, sourcing is important, particularly when someone is making a classic "appeal to authority," such as claiming a ex-CIA agent was a source to make people think the research is "above question," but taking care to leave off the actual identity so that alleged "fact" cannot be checked. The NYTimes, Dan Rather, etc use the appeal to authority to make anonymous sources sound more authoritative as well. Should we not be cautious?

Now if this guy's such a good source and has a good reputation his name would be right there. But if not, I can see why the name would be left off- that same shortage of info is after all why Obama is suspicious, aside from the obvious reasons such as the fact he's pushing bad legislation, he's a full-blown communist, he surrounds himself with terrorists, loves dictators, and no communist can honestly take the oath of office anyway.

If you don't know who the author is and don't care to inquire, what possible difference does it make to you if I ask the question?

It will be interesting to see if in 2011/12 in those states that will demand a proof of the candidates’ status as natural born, 0 will just refer to the resolutions in the House and the Senate, instead of handing in his real BC.

Really, the only fact I need to know is the lengths to which Obama has gone to keep this document - if it exists - a secret.

All the liberals who said every word out of Bush’s mouth was a lie are now lining up to take the word of a Hawiian government official on Obama’s birth certificate - even though the statement says less than it appears to on first glance - even though releasing the document SHOULD be a very simple matter.

Experts and officials said Saddam hid WMDs in Syria too. Maybe the media should take that as settling the matter as well. After all, it’s a lot easier to release one document in Hawaii than to search the territory of a hostile foreign power.

If Obamas mother was unwed at the time of birth she would have conferred citizenship regardless of where she was and where he was born. It is part of the law in effect then.

I don't think that's correct, per this from above:

“As originally enacted, section 301(a)(7) stated: Section 301. (a) The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth: (7) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than ten years, at least five of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years:"

Personally, I think a number of the prominent figures on the right that are speaking out on BO's behalf are more concerned with the potential catastrophic effects should there be widely accepted skepticism about his eligibility. While I'm sure some consider the matter settled, others have doubts but are afraid of the consequences.

IOW, better an ineligible President than a civil war. Let's just not turn over this rock.

Unfortunately I agree with you.

Then they, along with members of Congress, SCOTUS, the judiciary & the military upper brass, who have sworn to defend the U.S. Constitution from all enemies, both foreign & domestic, are absolute despicable vermin & scum for their cowardice in failing to confront this constitutional issue head on. No wonder our country is in such a mess. I hope these cowardly bastards rot in hell for their pitiful cowardice. If this were a conservative Republican hiding behind such a mask of enforced suppression of the truth, we would already have long been engaged in massive civil uprisings by the left & egged on by the media & leftist politicians. What a bunch of hypocritical cowards we now have.

I was never a Marine but have great respect for the Corps. My uncle and great-uncle both retired as Master Gunnery Sgts.

With regard to Lt. O'Bannon, there's a great book (The Pirate Coast) that details Capt. Eaton's mission to the Barbary Coast.

“Explain the birth announcement in the two newspapers back in 1961.”

What exists is microfilm in libraries, undoubtedly forged. The address in the birth announcements belongs to a professor whose widow died 10 days before the microfilm was “found”. The address in question is a luxury home that there is no evidence the Obamas or Dunhams ever lived at. It seems to have been occupied continuously by the professor, his wife, and children. In short, there’s a lot of bad guys working on the Obama cover-up, and you should also expect to see a forged long-form birth certificate in the future.

The thing I find most damaging to Obama about this post is the draft issue. Every single person accepts anecdotal family lore as truth as to the circumstances of one's birth by necessity...none of us has memories of the occasion. If there are conflicting stories, as was probably the case with Obama, there had to have been a lot of drama in his house growing up, so he probably sincerely had no idea of the truth.
However, at the time of his draft registration, he would have known there were discrepancies or he was irresponsible, both big issues. He was eighteen and therefore, had knowledge. For most people this might be excusable, but he then went on to become an expert in Constitutional Law. He had the presumption of a greater responsibility given that he was an expert in this field than most. If he willingly sought the presidency knowing that he would have questions of his eligibility because of his birth, then it means that he willfully sought to undermine the Constitution. He had already lied to the Selective Service Commission and to the state of Illinois to obtain his law license as well.
