We have to get out of this trend that anytime something bad happens, “we need a new law” to address it.
This is totally covered under existing laws, I am sure more than enough calls to 911 were made from the bar patrons anyway. It’s just ridiculous. All this kind of stupid law will do is fine the barowner if he or she forgets to make the call, and I’m sure they’d also make it so the liquor license goes away too.
Remember "Gizmo's Law" ? guy punts a dog and now there's a new law.
I'm not making light of the subjects but sh*t happens no matter how "omnipotent" our gub'mint likes to believe that it is.
I can see that as the agenda. There are only so many liquor licenses by law in most jurisdictions.
