Another great loss and sad day for Philly sports fans. Johnson was treated for Melanoma in 2001. The cancer resurfaced in early 2009 and Johnson took a leave of absence in May. Jim was a good guy. Condolences and prayers to his family and friends.

As an Eagle fan for as long as I can remember, I’m no 70 years old, I offer my condolences his family and friends.
I for one will miss seeing him on the sidelines and watching his wonders with the defense.
God speed, till we surely will be with our Lord and Savior forever.

Not an Eagles fan, but respected the heck out of Jim Johnson’s coaching. A sad loss.

Wow, as a Cowboy fan, I can attest to the fact that the guy knew defense. Big loss for the Eagles and a bigger loss for his family and friends.

When I heard it was in his bones a few months ago, I knew it wouldn’t be long.
RIP, JJ. It was a pleasure watching your defenses all these years.

Rest in peace Coach Johnson, from a Giant fan. You were always a worthy adversary.

R.I.P.
As much as I detest the Eaglets, he was a very good coach.
