If you watch period movies from the 60’s, ‘Negro’ was a very acceptable word back then, even as late as the late 60s ( “Guess who’s coming to dinner”) The COLB was likely prepared much after Obama’s birth, after the dawn of the PC era.

Correction: "Guess who's coming to dinner" is not a period movie. It was made in the 60s and so it's even more authentic than modern movies set in the 60s.
