I understand and I'm sorry you have to contend with that. I have tremendous respect for this brave and articulate woman. It's her business who she votes for, and what she did by standing up for what she believes is right is wonderful.

I grew up in a neighborhood that had race riots at one point. I have seen lots of prejudice, but I have also seen incredible changes over the past three decades, and I'm so happy about that. I don't want anything to diminish the progress we've made. I feel that Obama, as the first African American president, had/has a responsibility to govern as a moderate, and to be seen as a great president for all the nation. He's letting his ideological dogma get in the way of that.
