Who Let the Blue Dogs Out?.......(a bastardized form of socialized medicine)
Canada Free Press ^ | Monday, July 27, 2009 | Jayme Evans

Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats have finally hit some resistance in their push towards socialism. Last week, something truly amazing and totally refreshing happened in Washington D.C. A group of fiscally-conservative Democrats known as the “Blue Dog” Coalition signaled that they could not support the bastard child christened “Obamacare”.

Barely two weeks ago, it appeared as if the disaster of socialized medicine would indeed be rammed through Congress and down the throats of the American people. But, the stalwart opposition of the Blue Dogs means that Congress will likely adjourn for their August recess without an agreement on Barack Obama’s signature piece of legislation. That’s just as well; it was nothing more than a big, fat piece of something else. But, that’s what you get when Nancy Pelosi and the liberal wing of the Democrat party are tasked with writing it.

The road to Obamacare was paved with a series of overt lies. Like every other issue Obama has wrapped his hands around, unless we act immediately, led by him, we face imminent catastrophe. If you remember, he chided us that without his stimulus, we were doomed to an economic Chernobyl. Economists are now cautiously (and prematurely) sounding the bottom, yet barely ten percent of those hundreds of billions has been spent; much of it wasted; and Barack Obama maintains that the stimulus was successful and operating as intended. If you believe Obama now, the American health care system is also in full cardiac arrest. Unless we (he) intervenes immediately, the entire system will melt down and grind to a halt.

Let’s be honest. Our health care system is not perfect, but it works.

This is all well and good until Pelosi et al get them in a back room and find out what their price is to roll over like good doggies.

Just like on C&T they'll roll over if the bone is big enough.

I love CanadaFreePress. Having said that, the Blue Dogs talk a good game to appease their constituents but in the end vote for whatever Democrat/socialist legislation is before them. They are like Lucy in the Peanuts cartoon who continually pulls the football before Charlie can kick it. I have stopped believing them. You cannot trust the ‘blue dogs’ as far as you can throw them. JMHO FWIW. ;)

Keep in mind, the Blue Dogs consider themselves only “fiscal conservatives.” There is nothing inherently wrong with Obamacare (in their view), as long as the costs balance. A tax increase would suit them just fine, at least based on their stated beliefs.

However, then there is that little re-election thingy...

...the stalwart opposition of the Blue Dogs.,,

These Blue Dog Dems did what it seems no one in the Republican Party would do.

Obama spent more time considering the White House dog breed than he wants to allow congress to debate socializing our heath care.

Jim Cooper (D-TN) killed Hillarycare. Don’t sell the Blue Dogs short, they may be our only hope.

The conservative and moderate democrats don’t like this monster health care bill and cap and trade bill as much as republicans because they understand all too well not only the consequences but the UNINTENDED consequences of these bills. They also understand all too well that if they vote in favor of these farcical bills, their reelection chances are doomed to utter defeat. I called these bills farcical but nobody is laughing about them with the exception of the president and his administration. Our country has the best health care in the world. People from other countries come here for health care because it is the best. Not the other way around. Are we to throw all that aside now? This monster should be burned to death by villagers wielding torches, namely us. We the American people must make our voices heard clearly and loudly about this and get it stopped. The health care system is not broken. PART OF THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN, NOT ALL OF IT. Any rational person would fix what was broke about the system, not throw it out entirely and start over. You keep what works and fix what doesn’t or what needs fixing. A complete overhaul is unnecssary.

Obama’s intent is not to fix anything.

Free health care for the acorn organized communities
as payment for the election of their lawyer agitator.

fix what doesn’t or what needs fixing...

Much of what needs fixing is leftist insertion over many years of monkey wrenches into the health care gears. They are good little planners, and have a vision of their goals. They'll spout off about the current problem of the day, and propose a solution that "fixes" it for that day, but all the while moves them a bit closer to their promised land of US destruction.

Health "insurance" is anything but that. Its no longer catastrophic insurance, but caters to every hangnail and itch. This has made it VERY expensive, and is by design by leftists, to get us folks to clamor for "reform". Its the 'rats again proposing a solution to a problem they created.

Hey, at this point, I’ll accept any help from any side to shoot this down.

Its the ‘rats again proposing a solution to a problem they created.

And that is always the case.

Liberals create the disasters. Conservatives try to clean up the messes left by em and get blamed by liberals when they try.

we all need to be very wary of this....even with an “Obamacare Lite” that is stripped of its “public option”, the potential is there for them to create another crisis by tightening the regulatory screws and putting free-market insurance companies out of business within a few years.
