The Brits have been spelling it Taleban since they became news-worthy back in 2001. (Gee, wonder why.) You really haven’t seen a single UK news story about the Tal”e”ban in the last 8 years? Wow.

Not that I recall seeing that particular spelling in anything I’ve read on the Taliban, UK or otherwise.
