Betsy McCaughey (former Lt. Governor and infection expert from NY) says only HMO managed care type plans that "limits access to specialists" are allowed under the House Bill.
So is you have a plan that allows you to go directly to a specialist "you will forced to give up that plan for a managed care style plan."
When I hear Betsey expound on this bill, I know she has read EVERY page of it, and hence, knows what’s in it, UNLIKE most Congresscritters who are ready to VOTE on it, and most amateurs who are only too glad to further confuse the issue by spreading half-digested false information about it, defending Obama all the way down the line, and, like a Canadian reporter for CBC who was on NPR, put a happy happy face on both Canadian healthcare and Obama’s plan, which she insisted had little in common with the Canadian way of healthcare.

I am convinced that this is the way they will solve the baby boom problem. The government opened Al Gore’s “lockbox” long ago and spent all the funds that should have been there for us. If they pay out what their actuaries say they will have to, plus the Medicare benefits, there is no way the USA will be solvent.
Voila! Obamacare, that’ll fix it.
I used to sell insurance and I have never owned an HMO, they are the precursor to socialized medicine.
