Her favorability among Republicans is nearly 20 points higher than her closest competitor (Huckabee). Her “would you vote for” numbers are neck and neck with Romney and Huckabee.

And while Palin’s been the main focus of opposition attacks, Huckabee and Romney haven’t have a finger laid on them.

She’s in great shape, with time on her side.

Why do you think time is on her side? In just 11 months she's managed to alienate about half the American public. Her base is finite, isn't reproducing very fast, and it isn't large enough to win a national election. Republican nomination yes, election no. Reagan didn't have her high negative to deal with, and didn't have ACORN or illegals or ex-felons voting like the Democrats will bring us by 2012.
