“As far as I’ve seen, yes.

The house was owned by Orland and Thelma Lefforge, both of whom are deceased. Orland died on 4 July 2007, and Thelma on 12 June 2008, just as the birther issue was getting underway. They might have remembered or been able to search their rent records. Perhaps their descendants still could.

So you have your choice. You can believe the contemporaneous birth announcement. Or you can buy the cockamamie birfer conspiracy theory that the 6085 address was chosen for the forged announcement based on the conveniently timed Lefforge obit.

Of course, all the birth announcement corroborates is that the birth was in fact registered with the State of Hawaii at the time in question. The birthers will still maintain that examination of the long form will reveal the registration as fraudulent.”

Thanks for the thorough research. The announcement was made in 61 though, That can’t be refuted. Unless the birthers want to say that address was chosen at random 48 years ago, and the owners were killed off to keep em quiet, then I’m not sure what else could be speculated.

Wow, actually, FR peeps did have some to say about it.

Man they even charted out their kids and grandkids and encouraged peeps to try to get a hold of them and ask them questions... That isn’t being a conservative, thats being a stalker. Thats one step from being a psychopath.

The nuttier birthers are attempting to do exactly that. They are maintaining the microfiche showing the announcements have been forged.

It's hard to forge microfiche. To do it convincingly, you would have turn up a machine (the technology is obsolete), dummy up a newspaper page, photograph it, develop the fiche, and age it convincingly. And, most difficult of all, you would need to find all extant copies of the genuine fiche and substitute your counterfeit.
