Well, given her very high opinion of herself, I would say that we paid for it. The most dangerous place in the world is to between sheila and a tv camera. Her aids have spoken on how she is demanding as hell on everyone else, but cannot get anywhere on time. She will leave her limo idling for a long time, then berate the driver for making her late. She claimed that nasa put a man on mars. And recently she “hosted” a federal job fair here in Houston and promised that there 600,000 (federal) jobs on the way. However she is repeatedly reelected from her district. She is a legend in her own mind. And she is in Congress.

Taxpayers pay for her chauffeured one block commute from home to her Capital Hill office. Never mind that it's against the law for her to use public funds for that. She's banned from Continental Airlines for yelling and causing such a ruckus with her “don't you know who I am!” at the attendants for not giving her a first class seat when she'd paid for coach, um, make that the entire row because she was too good to sit by commoners. She's been voted the meanest congress person. She complains hurricanes don't get enough black names. She ranted about Texas not having any black colleges when right down the road from her Texas home is the predominantly black university of Prairie View A&M which admitted blacks 130+ years ago in 1878.

There are two things I don’t understand: 1) How the good people of Houston can continue to send this woman back to D.C. election after election and 2) How do people continue to live in Dallas and not demand changes at the corrupt Dallas ISD (they pay tons of property tax to the ISD)? Just can’t figure out either of those.
