I wouldn[’t want Romney to be the president for one simple reason: Idiots like you would spend the next four years trying to tear him to pieces, whether it was good for the country or not. And I would have to spend four years challenging all the crap that would be thrown at him. Also, every bigoted, anti-Mormon in the country would come crawling out of the wood work to spread their poison. I could be called a Mittbot only in the sense that I would like to spare him and myself all that misery.

That and the fact that you registered here to promote Mitt Romney.

Here is your 20th post at FR, 18 of the previous 19 were Romney posts as was your very first one and most of those that followed. You didn't even like FR but you had to join to defend Romney.

First you say you want to stop wasting time. And now you want to start an accusation and guessing game.

As so often in the past you display the reasoning power of a child.
Supporting, defending, and promoting are different things.
Think hard, and you may get it.
I have never promoted Romney for the presidency, for reason many times stated.
However, I think he is a suitable backup if the front runner fails. And he might be able to put the economy in the right direction as a vp. I defended him because I didn't want a fall back being destroyed in case I needed him. As it turned out, we did need a backup when Thompson dropped out.
Then everyone seemed to be more interested in destroying Romney than they were in winning the election.
If you still don't get it, I leave you to your ignorance.

Romney can't win. The Fox news babes can smile and look good while they report his poll numbers...and yeah...he's got great hair, but he's still a RINO and a turd that won't flush. Him being a Mormon has nothing to do with why we won't support him. He could be a Hari-Krishna for all we care. But the one thing he isn't is a conservative, and we DO care about that.

Take a stroll through FR and you'll find that we've always been a pretty good indicator of which way conservatism is leaning. The GOP won't pay attention to this, and so they continue to drive off the cliff and commit suicide. But you don't have to be like them.

Romney can't win, and if the GOP persists with him, look to whoever the DNC nominates and that will be the next winner.
