I read an interview of Gates. He said that he had no problem with the woman who called the cops and that he hoped that if someone saw someone breaking into his house on Martha’s Vineyard (which is where he was at the time) that a neighbor would call the cops. So this woman is really reaching for someone to blame here.
The woman who called isn’t actually a neighbor, she just works nearby and witnessed the 2 men trying to get in the front door.
