CNN (Lou Dobbs show) just exclusively reported that Gates has accepted the President's invitation to the Whitehouse. Gates issued a statement and I'm paraphrasing here, but he uses Obama’s words that he hopes it can be “a teaching moment” on race relations. It looks like Gates is taking his clues from Obama on his public statements. Perhaps they've talked on how best to "handle" the situation since they are such good friends.

When CNN talked to Gates’ attorney they asked if Gates was planning on suing. The attorney didn't give a definitive answer, but said that it “depends”.

So, is this a race baiting shakedown now?

Maybe we need to super glue some X-ray glasses to both Obama and Gate’s heads so they can see we are just the same on the inside as African(hyphen)Americans.

And that Asians are the same on the inside as Africans, and that Hispanics are the same as blacks, polish are the same etc etc etc.....

0bama would be fool if he prolongs this issue. He had been very careful not to be associated with race-bait crowd during the election, and this would be exactly the opposite.

I'm hoping - PRAYING, in fact - for the following scenario:

1. That this meeting with Gates takes place, with full-blown 24/7 media coverage.
2. That Crowley sticks to his guns, doesn't apologize, and doesn't participate in this phony "Can't we all just get along?" ploy designed to prop up O's image.
3. That all the audio tapes, and any still still photos of the screaming looney are released.
4. Finally, that clueless Rat politicians continue to back BO on this issue.

That should take care of 2010. Now on to 2012.
