[Jenkins]

Very disappointing. She will hear from me.

Good. It used to say what states they were from when the GOP was in charge but now it just gives names — no states.

I fault the Republicans who failed to end funding for Planned Parenthood when they had the Presidency and a House majority and a Senate majority.

Planned Parenthood funding will continue because of the Republican “big tent” on abortion.

Pence did everything he could and stamped those efforts with his own name in broad daylight.

That forms a remarkable contrast with all the weasel Republicans who keep throwing a baby’s right to life under the bus.

Jenkins replaced the Boyda, who was the Democrat that beat out Jim Ryun (who was pro-life) in 2006. Jenkins is definitely a step up from Boyda, but I had my suspicions that she was pro-life. Still, as a fiscal conservative, she has no business voting for taxpayer funded abortions.

At some point they will be automatically taxing our paychecks to pay for baby killing. What the hell are we going to do when that happens?

That is the most anyone will ever be able to do. Our civilization (and likely the human species) is coming to an end. It had grown old and is about to experience a natural death.

The question remains: what can we do?

At the rate the government is expanding, there will soon no longer be any way to avoid paying an evil tax. They will simply reach into our bank accounts (or anywhere else we keep our money).

Here’s what I wrote to my representative, Nita Lowey:

How much money do New York State tax payers contribute to Planned Parenthood?

How many New Yorkers pay federal taxes?

Please answer. I would like to know how much blood money is on my hands.

The govt cannot expand without our money. The govt cannot reach without our money. The govt cannot even exist without our money.

So I guess the only solution is to live without money? I suppose that I could live in a brush hut and grow vegetables.

Eventually they will run out of our money but by that time it will all be too late.

We all face judgement but different judgement thrones. The saved like myself will be judged at the Judgement Seat of Christ, for our good works, not our sins (which were washed away when we became saved). The unsaved will be judged at The Great White Throne Judgement of Revelation, which is a totally different judgement day. The unsaved will be judged for not accepting Jesus Christ as Savior. Their sins have not been washed away and they will have to answer for them before Jesus AND the saints. Yes, the saints will be judging the unsaved along with Jesus. The Bible is crystal clear on that fact.

Taxes belong to Caesar and you are bound to pay them or go to jail. Then it’s the GOVERNMENT’S responsibility to use those tax monies properly. The taxpayer has fulfilled his obligation, then it’s up to the government what they do with the money. If they do sinful things with the money the sin of that is on the GOVERNMENT’S head, and not the taxpayer.

It does not help your family or children if the father of the house goes to jail. That’s not providing for your family which is your first responsibility. The Bible says that any man who doesn’t take care of his family is worse than a pagan.

I already had the strong impression you were saved, so I won’t engage you any further.
In my view, the government is responsible too; but WE are responsible for the government.
I cannot wash my hands of it as you do.

It’s not a question of “washing of hands” but of biblical doctrine.

I am responsible to pay my taxes to the higher authorities. The government in turn is responsible for how they spend the money. Just like you are not responsible for the sins of your neighbor down the street, even if sometimes you socialize with him or even go to church with him, likewise I am not responsible for how the government allocates the funds they collect from me.

I can try and vote for moral people to legislate morally, that’s a responsibility I have, to use my spiritual discernment to pick the right people for office. But I am not responsible for the outcome of an election being different than I would like; nor responsible for the leader messing up once he’s in office, even if I voted in good faith for him and he happened to win. Any poor behavior or judgements on his part are his responsibility, not mine for having voted for him.

God sees and judges *individuals* at the different judgement seats, not groups.

The explanation that I got from Jenkins office as to why she voted against this amendment is because it is unconstitutional, since it specifically singled out Planned Parenthood. The nice young woman on the phone said that Jenkins does not support federal funding for abortions but also does not support targeting specific organizations with Congressional legislation and did not want to start that precedent.

The staffer also said that the Pelosi/Waxman/Obama healthcare reform bill is a nightmare and that it is designed to push everyone into a government run plan that rations care.
