The next time your house is being broken into by robbers or rapists, and someone calls the cops, then tell me they over reacted.
All the man had to do was show an ID and be cooperative. The Cambridge PD (which is LIBERAL) is threatening to release the 911 and police scanner calls.
What does that tell you?
There is an immense difference from the Conservative "No More Wacos" mentallity towards police and authority, and simply being an ass. This racist "Professor" of a make work six figure job was the latter.
Heck yes Gates is an *ss! And a bigoted *ss to boot. I mean, c’mon, the guys gets belligerent when the cops are called to investigate a home break in? His home, at that.
What p*sses me off is the “racial profiling” spin. Cops do this kind of stupid stuff all the time to blacks, whites, and every color under the rainbow.
This should be a “stupid cop” story, not a “racist cop profiles innocent little Harvard professor story.”
The cops should not abuse their authority by arresting people who disrespect them.
