An ethics watchdog believes outgoing Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin is being unfairly targeted in the latest ethics complaint filed against her.
Palin is strongly denying reports that claim an independent investigator has found evidence she may have violated Alaska's ethics laws. On July 21, The Associated Press reported an independent investigator for the state Personnel Board found there may be evidence suggesting that a trust fund created to pay Palin's legal expenses is in violation of state ethics law.
She immediately called the AP report an "inaccurate story" and released a statement later calling any allegation that the defense fund accepted any inappropriate donations "misguided and factually in error."
Ken Boehm, chairman of the National Legal and Policy Center, has several objections to the charges. "Under Alaska law and under ethics law just about everywhere, investigators aren't supposed to leak things out before the investigation is concluded," he notes. "Now it's been cited by Sarah Palin herself and others on her behalf [that] this just violates Alaska law."

Long overdue to cut those strings and excise the rats who anonymously rule and ruin lives of Americans.
We need to turn this around on those who are at the root of this...what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
She needs to start litigation against accusers.
I agree. Let’s goose the gander.
Seriously though, the left cannot stand to leave Gov. Palin alone. Their panicky tactics reflect the fear they have for her national popularity.
I’m with you. Palin needs to fight fire with fire and let her opponents know that they will pay for this sort of move. I hope she takes them to the cleaners.
“....the rats who anonymously rule and ruin lives of Americans.”
Just like every-day Democrats. They revel in victimhood, consider their “revenge” to be a right, and think nothing of being obnoxious, impolite, acquisitive and infantile, with impunity, in daily life, based upon their visceral impulses.
People like Governor Palin seem always bear the venom of those subversive fools. Hopefully, they will overplay their hand and expose themselves for the psychiatrics they are and disappear from public and private life.
IMHO
Alaska needs a looser pays provision in their ethics law.
They need some allegation to stick to her - at this point - if they found ten - I’d say ‘who cares’!!
How can they despairingly try to ruin Sarah, the conservative God Family Country candidate and
Allow BO free entrance in OUR WH - and he neither has the experience nor the qualifications.
How stupid do those pulling the strings think we are - LET IT BE KNOWN - it doesn’t matter what you find - Sarah’s our candidate. You liberal pigs will not control our election.
