Well it certainly would be human nature to do so. We blame God all the time for the bad things that happen to us or to others.
Even Adam did it. When God asked Him what had happened (after the fruit incident), Adam said “The woman you gave me offered me fruit, and I ate.” Didn’t work out too well as an excuse.
