We’ve got a few of those stores too in UT! They seem to find a niche with many people. We have a number of big chain stores around; however somehow these little stores survive! One branch of a chain of small stores did go under and is getting ready to close, sadly! It had been around for about 33 years. I don’t know what happened with that one. Two in the same chain are still open, and will stay open. Surprisingly, they are in large cities with bigger stores surrounding them!

We have a few conservative-oriented stores in the area. One of them I know is still opened (at least for the time being) is “Smith and Edwards”. It is also called: “Country Boy Store”! LOL It is a large farm supply, hardware, department, military surplus type store on the outskirts of Ogden! Probably some Ogden, or Weber County-area Freepers are familiar with it. Some out of the area are somewhat familiar, as well!

There’s a large counter in the store with patriotic pictures and books and pamphlets. And, oh yes, they do sell guns and ammo! Last time I was there, the whole counter was full of people looking at guns!

This store is locally owned and operated, and has been around for years and years! I think it was/still is a local family that started it, and runs it. If you are ever there for some reason, look it up! It might even be on the internet.
