Well, Rush is responsible for getting me on FR. It was a little more than one year after 9/11 on his show and he was talking about “The FReepers at FreeRepublic were going crazy about something”, so I decided to take a look. Been here ever since and have never regretted a moment.

Same for me, only it was Sean. Very soon after the 2004 election he made a reference to “the FReepers.” I lurked for a while and joined at the height of the Schiavo mess.
