The groups asked 60 of Michigan's most prominent CEO's to ascertain their projections for Michigans and the US economy. Detroit Renaissance president Doug Rothwell said a majority of CEO's believe the nations economy will see improvement in six months, but Michigan won't see improvement for another year at least.
The long-term outlook for Michigan is worse. Eighty percent of those surveyed think Michigans economy will be the same or continuing to get worse 18 months from now, while 78% think the US economy will be in recovery, according to Detroit Renaissance.

A bit like asking German generals about their chances late at the Battle of Stalingrad. MI is a disaster. Sad because most of the state is normal.
They want to raise taxes, hike the min age to $10 an hour and a lot of other draconian things. Its nuts.
More relevant today than when it was made (several years ago). Possibly the greatest political ad ever in Michigan politics.

I’m so surprised! I didn’t know there were 60 CEOs left in MI.
We have a lot of CEO’s in Michigan. Currently their employment involves collecting shopping carts in the parking lot at Kroger’s.
Maybe the model t plant? I dunno, but I recognize the building.
Probably not the T plant. Wasn’t that one on Woodward across from Sears in Highland Park?
