Found an article recently that said Sarah lived in Jericho. (SR considered Sarah’s house his home.)Jericho is a burb of Niarobi. And there appears to be a school at it eastern edge. (Still on dial-up, till tomorrow, but look at the map and see if you can find it.)

It looks to be a mission school and am curious if that is where Sr found the two missionaries teachers that prepared him for the exam he took at the AM embassy to qualify for the scholarship to U of HI.

I see a "Huruma Girls High School" and an Aquinas High School. Between them there is what is labeled. "Marianists, The". (Marianistas, or in the US the "Christian Brothers" , my Spanish professor had been one in his younger days in Cuba, where he played basketball against Fidel). I see a "Church Industrial training center, all that near the Airport/Air Base).

Farther east I see "Ofafa Jericho High School", "St. Philips Anglican Church", "Shepherds Education Complex" (near a police station). Also "East Africa School of Theology", plus several elementary schools with secular sounding names. Farther east in an area called "Umoja" there is a "Carmelvale Catholic Primary School"
