The point is you’d have to look in all the Hawaii papers until almost the end of August to see if the Nordyke birth was announced. The August 13 papers lists birth from 13 to six days beforehand. So using that as a bookmark you’d have to check, at the least, the papers from August 11 through 18 to find the Nordyke announcement.
