Give Patients the Option to Buy Health Insurance with No Right to Sue for Malpractice! I’ll take it! I am Alive because My Doctors Saved Me because They Did All They Knew How and GOD took Care of the rest! I Trust My Doctors! But they are paralyzed with the Fear of having thousands of Lawyers looking over their shoulders looking for their next Mansion:-(
I was actually thinking about this today. What would doctors charge if they knew they were absolutely free from all liability? Perhaps it would have no effect on doctors who still had malpractice insurance. The real kicker would be when other doctors who only saw no-malpractice patients come up. In that case, I would guess doctors with malpractice insurance would quickly be run out of business.
