Sarah Palin statement on Legal Fund
facebook

Posted on 07/22/2009 2:29:52 PM PDT by RED SOUTH

"I find the notion that I have taken any action pertaining to the legal defense trust fund misguided and factually in error. I am informed that this fund was created by experienced attorneys in DC and was modeled after other similar funds established for senators and others. The fund itself was not created by me nor is it controlled by me. Neither I nor my lawyer has received a penny from this fund, and I am informed the Trustee was withholding any action or payment pending final resolution with the Personnel Board. This is the hallmark of legal compliance and prudent conduct.

In short, I have not 'acted' relative to the defense fund and it is misleading to say I have. I have no doubt that the Trust will welcome guidance by the Board, as do we all, but it is my understanding that this matter was not resolved and the complainant's violation of law has served to mislead the public and prejudice a fair review of this matter."

Yeah, she posted this late last night. She’s obviously ticked off about it and rightfully so. However, I’ve noticed that the story has all but disappeared today...to much crying wolf by the anklebiters so that nobody cares any more or takes their complaints seriously.

I would hope multiple lawsuits will be filed shortly after her leaving office. I know I would.

I don’t have the reference, but I read somewhere that Greta Van Sustern’s husband, a DC lawyer, created this fund along with the PAC for Gov. Palin. I suspect he knows what he’s doing.

With this in mind, it will be interesting to see how well Greta controls her emotions when discussing these attacks.

She has plenty of grounds for malicious harassment suits against the filthy Dims and the MSM.

It’s called in the Muslim world, ‘legal Jihad’. Throw lots of legal complaints at a chosen person.....even if they had nothing to do with that person...

She’s probably saving all those arguments for alter time. When she has a boatload she’s gonna turn around and throw them back in their faces.

I think one of the reasons why the story seems to have fizzled, is that the investigator has been exposed as a big contributor to the dem party, and works for a firm representing the dem party. That may be causing some real concern in the 0bama war room, so they have decided to clamp down on the story, hoping that it will just go away.

I’d like to see the Personnel Board subpoena Thomas Daniel, the investigator; Kim Chatman, the filer; and Rachel D’Oro the AP reporter, and get to the bottom of who leaked the report. If the PB pursues this enough, they may just unravel the whole 0bama/Axelrod smear machine.
