The Fox network says it's skipping live coverage of President Barack Obama's prime-time news conference Wednesday night.

But the session, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern, will be carried by networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CNBC, C-SPAN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and PBS.

Fox, which plans to air entertainment programming instead, also opted out of Obama's prime-time news conference last April.

Are ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CNBC, C-SPAN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and PBS Nationalized...who pays for this??? Is our "stimulus money" paying for Obama's ACORN type push to get his health care bill through without careful reading and debate once again? This man is and our allies know it and our enemies are cheering it, is successfully rendering this nation a Banana Republic a-la Hugo Chavez as fast as he can. He doesn't even know what the bill holds.....it does hold a lot of garbarge that will cripple the country should any of it pass.

Call Congress: (202) 224-3121
(Senate leadership)

WHAT IS IN THIS BILL THAT OBAMA DOESN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT?

ALL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES WILL NOT HAVE TO ABIDE BY THIS BILL - THAT MEANS IT IS JUST FOR THE PRIVATE SECTOR WERE 85% ALREADY HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE....SO THIS BILL IS FOR THE 10,000 UNINSURED ILLEGALS? WHY DOES OBAMA WANT THIS SO BADLY WHEN IT WILL NOT AFFECT HIM, CONGRESSMEN, SENATORS, OT THE THOUSAND OF BUREAUCRATS WORKING FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT........NO TO THIS BILL PERIOD!!!!

State-run media offers wall-to-wall coverage. Fox plans news coverage, which is appropriate.

They’re not skipping it.

Fox has multiple channels - what’s the point in airing on more than one? Especially when they have a dedicated news channel.

Typical Lib business decision - no counter programming - only propaganda

I'm shocked you had to ask... Though, very good point on your part, I am sure you are right.

Tomorrow’s news will be all about Fox’s ratings blowout for “So you think you can dance”.

It’s all about Michelle’s dress. If you are not mindlessly hypnotized by the ‘one’ you will have a week a favorable fashion reviews to look forward to.

10,000? I think 10,000,000 is closer to reality.

I wish they’d dump airing it on Fox News. I don’t want to look at Obama’s lying face. Why can’t he just go crawl back under that rock from which he came?

As long as Fox Sports is carrying the Astros game, I’m good. I refuse to watch anything else.

Thanks to FR I know all I need to know about this HC bill.

Fox LOCAL channels haven’t covered his
speeches in the past, and that’s apparently
the direction they’ve gone this time, too.
FNC WILL be carrying it.

FOX knows that the idiots that voted for the moron will not be watching his lying mouth they all will miss their Soaps and then there will be hell to pay..So they will be surfing the networks for something they can watch instead of their golden boy..FOX will come out ahead in the end..

And ended up with the highest ratings for that night, meaning more advertising money, and Fox had one of their best quarters ever. Not only is it great that they are refusing too air 0bama’s lies and propaganda, it makes great business sense as well.

State run media seems willing to continue to do whatever Lord Obama wants, regardless of the impact on ratings or the bottom line.

Given that the networks are only following the decline of MSM print by a few years, it's interesting they're willing to damage themselves to pursue their politics.
