What a load of bullshit. No college or community college provides “gainful employment”. That's pretty much up to the student to obtain for themselves. Or at least it used to be before the advent of the “nanny state”. This is all a cover to punish private institutions that don't bow to the dictates of the teachers unions. If Ivy League colleges had to meet the same requirements as these so-called business colleges with regards to post-graduation employment, the State run institutions would go bust.

I have a degree from a big name, Ivy, East Coast university (some might argue that I am a bad advertisement) but of late, my Associate degrees seems to carry more weight with potential clients/employers (I do project work) as they show a focus on technical skills.

My daughter married a plumber, a better deal that a college educated 'whatever' - at least his work will not be outsourced to India...
