Obama can deny his socialistic goals all he wants, but his actions speak much louder. All the examples recited in this article involve committed socialistic leaders and the harshish criticism Obama can muster is calling North Korea unruly.

The beacon of freedom is flickering. I’m sad that I have to watch.

What’s the point? These atrocities have been going on for decades

Don't be an idiot.

The point is that for the past 30 years America's strong influence has kept the brakes on this kind of stuff. Now, Obama is tacitly encouraging it, and millions are suffering for his actions..

Tell that to those in N. Korea, Somalia, Nigeria, Mauritiana....maybe they’d like to trade places with you.

Oppression is on the march around the globe. So far, President Obama's administration has tacitly energized radically anti-American and tyrannical regimes to do their worst. We are watching the rollback of thirty years of American influence across the world -- and millions around the world are worse off for it.

Thanks for posting this excellent, and very sobering, article.

Looks like we're both getting it today!

What exactly has American foreign policy done to diminish these atrocities for the past several decades? North Korea, Cuba, Iran, etc. are still setting the standards when it comes to human rights abuses.

Yet the world wags its finger at us over GITMO.

I'm no fan of Obama, and admit that he is turning a blind eye to foreign policy. He's pretty much voting "present" in this area.

If others want to blame Obama for this, that's their prerogative. IMO, his reach overseas is diminishing in relation to his dropping poll numbers here.

He's been figured out as a spineless leader who speaks in platitudes, at least when he has a teleprompter at his disposal. The world is about to receive another lesson, i.e. what happens when America elects a President that's an invertebrate. Last time was Carter...at least Clinton had a Republican Congress to keep him in check.
