Mark Martin has the most Cup wins in 2009, yet he's on the verge of missing the Chase.
What's up with that?
After a week off, it's time to crank it up at The Brickyard.

Please pray on this day, and every day, for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm's way around the world in defense of our liberty, and for the families awaiting their safe return.

My tagline was translated from Yiddish. It’s all better now. More good. Sheesh. I might post in Italian or French the rest of the day.

"I just want a safe race" Yep; was at the local dirt track watching the IMCA modifieds last night and it was pretty scarey waiting for a driver to emerge from his car after looping right into the exit of turn four. He walked away after planting his right front tire into the firewall. Other than that incident was a great show with some very close racing.

Got a boneless pork picnic to heave on the coals. Going to use some hickory and plumwood this afternoon. Smoked salmon on romaine with fresh lemon pepper dressing to sit beside the bbq sammies.

This doesn't seem like a good track for double wide restarts but we'll just have to see. Hope for no “big ones”.

If you need to charge some AA's, they will work. Beyond that? I think I looked at them here. What is their output? Do you realize that proper installation, sun exposure, etc. can make a 50% difference in output. Plus, you will NEVER get the rated flow. You will get close at noon, but forget it at 8 OR 4.
If you are expecting much, don't. You can run a fan or something, but they aren't good for serious help. PV is too expensive, but if you want something to play with, they'll work like an erector set. If you are looking long term, buy lots of batteries and it can keep them charged, as an emergency SHORT TERM source.
