"It's time for her to accept responsibility for the manner in which she decided to handle the legislative council investigation." Chatman says. "She could have cooperated like she promised. Instead, Governor Palin chose to fight it and incur legal bills."

Chatman has further concerns. "With 20 months remaining in the governor's term, this contrived money scheme leaves a lot of room for people to buy favors from Palin and her cronies," Chatman says. "And what about all these other state officials involved in this plot. Aren't they in violation of the Ethics Act too?"

Wait a second, according to Chapman, Sarah has cronies, who knew. I’d love to be one of Sarah’s cronies, I’d hunt these pricks down and knock em out. People like Chatman are one of the main reasons I'm no longer a Democrat. Far too many of them are simply despicable people. I think a lot of it has to do with attitudes towards the concept of truth. Conservatives - regardless of whether they are religious conservatives, or constitutionalists, or free-marketers, or isolationists, believe in truth and in defending truth. Liberals laugh at the idea of truth, which is why they are such shameless, programmatic liars. This is not to say that conservatives never lie - they are human after all - but they rarely engage in the systematic and often utterly bizarre patternsof lying that increasingly characterize liberals.

Thus the "Bush lied, people died" mantra was directed - in true Alinsky fashion - at a core value of conservatives. Liberals, on the other hand, will say whatever they need to say - no matter how preposterous - to get their intended results. Obama is a perfect example. He lies about just about everything, health care being the most recent. There is no way that Obama wants most people to retain their private health insurance plans. No way.
