so clear-headed and placid at this
purposeful attempt to completely decimate
our beloved country by a half-black man
who once had Indonesian citizenship himself,
whose every conceivable personal and professional
record is purposely sealed, whose father was
a British citizen when he was born, and who has
yet to irrefutably demonstrate that he was, in
fact, Constitutionally eligible to have even
run for, never mind BE president.
Was that too deranged for you ?
By the way, the fact that there may have been
State elections boards omissions in asking for
that proof of eligibility is beside the point.
He is now serving as president .. any doubt about
his standing and eligibility remains as a critically
important issue, given the scope of his reach and
decisions representing the United States of America.

You’re actually talking about two separate things here. One is qualifications per the Constitution, and then there are policies that he’s going to carry out according to his political stance. I wouldn’t confuse the one with the other. They are separate issues, so when you say that Obama is set on purposely decimating our beloved country — that would be true if he were to give you proof of his qualifications. That would remain unchanged in regards to his political stance. It’s not like “he’s not qualified and he’s going to decimate our country” versus “he’s qualified and he’s going to protect and build up our country with sound policies”. That’s what it sounds like you’re saying.
In regards to what he was required to do to run and hold office, Obama has done the same as the other candidates have done in the past, with simply signing sworn statements, when they get on the ballot in the various states and affirmed that he is qualified. No one has ever been *required by law* to present a birth certificate and that’s why I call it a loophole in the Constitution. It gives the requirements, but it doesn’t say you have to prove it by way of a birth certificate. You can swear to it and be deemed to have met the qualifications, just as the other Presidential Candidates have in the past.

It’s not deranged to oppose policies, legislation and argue the methodologies that we use for governing ourselves in a rational fashion and try to drum up support for our positions and get our own legislators to vote according to what we think is the right policy or the right bill and so on.
What the Obama Derangement Syndrome consists of is a detachment from reality and not recognizing how Obama has done just the same thing in “qualifying” for the position as any other candidate has. That’s the “deranged part”. And then this derangement gets into other things posted by a variety of poster (who still maintain these things to this day) — some things like, getting tanks to surround the White House and the military demanding that Obama quit as President or they will attack the White House... LOL... (yes, FReepers have put this forth as something that they would promote doing...). Another one who I see popping up again and again, is that all it takes to remove a sitting President is for a judge to issue an order to a U.S. Marshal and have him go into the Oval Office, arrest and handcuff Obama and then ‘perp-walk him” outside and to a jail cell... LOL...
I’ve got to wonder if there are a signficant number of voters who went “insane” when they heard Obama won... :-).
I prefer saner methods, like getting one’s own state legislature to pass legislation requiring a candidate to show documentation to prove his eligibility or else he can’t be on the ballot in the state. That not only sounds like something that is sane, and which is done in the “real world” — but also — something which has the best chance of actually working to *remove* Obama from office.
So, yes, the “Obama Derangement Syndrome” is definitely around, and I think a certain number of people went “certifiable” and “insane” after election day...
