I care less if Conneticutt goes communist. As long as they stay up there in their self created Utopia.

At least, when the state health care system collapses (as we know it will), the Repubs can sit back and say, “It’s the dimb-bulb-crats, stupid.”

Tell me about it. Florida needs a moat.

great, if Connecticut adopts Soviet Health Care, maybe some of the libtard windbags who are masquerading as sportscasters at ESPN will assume room temperature sooner rather than later.

In a historic day at the state Capitol, the Democratic-controlled legislature overrode seven vetoes by Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell and took the first step toward establishing universal health care coverage in Connecticut. The number of overrides tied the seven made in 1992 during the administration of Gov. Lowell P. Weicker the most since Republican Gov. Thomas Meskill was overridden nine times in 1974.
-snip-
The most prominent veto overridden Monday allows a nine-member board to craft the outlines for the SustiNet universal health care system.
Just great. I wish my husband and I could pack up and move the hell out of Connecticut TODAY. I've really had enough...

Tell me about it. Florida needs a moat.At a recent HOA meeting, a woman who recently moved here from NYC was complaining about how long it took for the police to answer a 9-1-1 call.
After listening to her piss and moan for 15 minutes I interrupted her and said, "Ma'am. That's the difference between living in a nanny state and a shoot-n-shovel state."

I’d be right behind you and your hubby. This super-majority of ‘Rats and the spineless GOP, are adding up to a horrible situation.
What idiots. Why are they even voting on these overrides when WE HAVE NO BUDGET?!?! And yet they are passing new laws that will cost us more $$$.
My local paper had a big news story on the recent property revals and the tax bill ‘sticker shock’ that people experienced. And yet my same clueless neighbors voted for the same two CT reps (and Zero) at the rate of 2 to 1. Hello? Idiots, you keep electing the same people thinking they will produce different results.
