There is nothing about “Democracy” that is incompatible with socialism.

Hear, hear! What needs to be said: "Democracy" means "majority rules". If the majority votes to put a 100% tax on red-headed dwarfs, then it can. If that sounds wrong to you, then that is proof that you don't believe in democracy, and, in fact, America was not so constituted.
