Mr. Alford just uttered the best "money quote" that I've heard in a long, long time. The RNC, if they had any sense, would put this in a commercial and do a mass buy in every major urban market.

Of course, that would assume that the RNC had some sense.

This guy sounded relatively Conservative. I bet Boxer just hated him. Conservative Blacks are the enemy to Dems. Almost worse than Conservative Whites.

Conservative Blacks are the enemy to Dems. Almost worse than Conservative Whites.

Disagree.

Conservative females(Palin) are just a notch below conservative blacks on the liberal hate list.

Mr. Alford should be the head of the GOP.

Mr. Alford has his mission and constituency. I suggest that he not become overtly political but continue his advocacy of free enterprise. His gifts are needed there as well.

Since the first time I heard her utter something, I have held the opinion that Barbara Boxer is an idiot. This people must run for office to build their egos.

Clearly B.O. was intimidated by Mr. Alford with his kissy azz agreements. He didn’t want to be “taken down” by Alford.

I watched it. O'Reilly spent his last breath DEFENDING Boxer, absolutely DENYING that racism drives her comments and actions. He spins it all as "ideological."

"She LOVES black people," pleads O'Reilly in her defense. "She loves poor black people. She loves black people in their place," replies Alford.

And O'Reilly STILL doesn't get it.

That may be the case, but the country is in trouble, not just free enterprise.

But I am sure he wouldn’t want the headache either... Can’t say I blame him. From what I have heard though, he is very strong in his convictions and would not back down from any liberal which is what the right needs.

This whole episode show just how pathetic the right and in particular the GOP has become. This guy is touted as the new hero and a true "conservative". I guess the right is so devoid of any real heros that they will latch on to anything that is perceived as "anti-left". I can't stand Barbara Boxer and I abhor almost everything she represents but this man is the CEO of the BLACK chamber of commerce, Most members of the black chamber of commerce are also NAACP members and other black political/lobbying anti-white organizations. He is whining about race yet he represents race. The whole point of his organization IS race. If he is so "conservative" ask him if he thinks the Black Chamber of commerce should disband or if we he would agree with a specific white chamber of commerce?? Ask him if thinks the NAACP should disband? How about the Black Caucus...? Our country is being destroyed using race and all of these groups are at the forefront with apparently many whites shouting hallelujah!

True, he uses race just as much (although in a different way) as Sharpton or Jackson. I also agree that the right is desperate for a black hero, therefore the unjustified (in my opinion) hailing of Steele as our own “messiah” when was elected chair of the RNC.

I like Mr. Alford; but it has been said he is for the healthcare plan. That I don’t like.
