Barbara Boxer, the far left U.S. Senator from California, was given a stern face-to-face reprimand by the president of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, Harry Alford, for trying to pit one black group against another instead of addressing issues on their merits. (Snip) In this case, instead of dealing substantively with Mr. Alfords criticisms of the current Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade energy bill, Ms. Boxer tried to discredit Alford by pointing out how black groups such as the NAACP and 100 Black Men of Atlanta were allegedly supporting the bill. (Snip) Mr. Alford scolded her for her divisive, racially charged tactics:
Thats condescending and I dont like it; its racial. I dont like it. I take offense to it.

I love, love, love this man from the Black Chamber of Commerce! I would start a fan club for him and even better support him running against Boxer for CA Senator..... he was on Bill O’Reilly tonight, if you missed it, I’m certain BOR has it up on his Fox website by now. Great interview with this man.
As another freeper pointed out to me a couple days back, I might respect this guy more if he wasn’t there from the BLACK chamber of commerce.
He wouldn’t have been invited to the hearing had he not been the chair of the “black” chamber of commerce, however.
He got his point across anyhow, and Boxer looked like a racist.
That’s crazy ..
One hundred black men of Atlanta? What the heck is that - a sampling of one hundred pedestrians on Peachtree?
I just think it's odd that he was complaining about race this and race that when he had no problem appearing as a member of the BLACK chamber of commerce. I guess he's not all that bothered by labels of race...except when he is.
Babs Boxer is smarter than Olympia Snowe....The latter doesn’t even know she is a Democrat.
This would work in combo with a many others out there; showing Boxer and other Dem's arrogance; available for any Repub candidate; running anywhere. . .(a montage including Boxer/Frank/Reid/Hoyer/and/or including Obama/Biden as well; would probably create a landslide - for Dem opponents.)
Then there are the 'responses' to world crisis. Obama would not fare well here, either. (Hillary referencing what may be our fiercest enemy, North Korea; as children; could do some serious damage.) The Obama 'bow'. . .meeting Chavez; 'we are not a Christian Nation; versus Muslim comments. . .too many to revisit, of course; but surely enough available that would allow an easy 'demise by their own hand'.
These Dems; politically; are our worst enemy; too bad; that Repubs are unwilling to capitalize on the truth they unwittingly share' but is underplayed by MSM.
. . .p.s. and re post #11; ‘behind all this’ a subtle sound of a ‘laugh track’. . .
As a Californian I am quite embarrassed that Boxer is one of my senators, but she is beatable with the right effort and the right candidate. There are candidates lining up to take her on and the backlash against the Taxocrats is growing. She can be tied to the homosexuals who were defeated in California’s Proposition 8. She can be tied to the high unemployment. She can be tied to the new higher taxes. Boxer is abrasive and obnoxious, ugly, too liberal for any state in the union, and it is a wonder that she has lasted this long. If Mitt Romney could sweep Massachusetts, there are candidates that can dispose of Boxer. This seat is winnable.
Nah, youse is rite...fuhgeddaboudit!! Gotta go change da erl in da car and fix da leek inna terlit
Great video!
“...These Dems; politically; are our worst enemy; too bad; that Repubs are unwilling to capitalize on the truth they unwittingly share’ but is underplayed by MSM...”
Too bad Republicans are the conservative’s worst enemy. Doesn’t leave much of a choice...
Well at least he had the testecular fortitude to call out the Master in the Master’s house. The only reason we have a race problem in this country is because of the Democrats. They have always bee the source of the problem.
The other factor is that just maybe this guy saw an opportunity to make some changes from within on his side of the issue. It certainly sounded that way with the BOR interview.
Did anyone else notice that BOR is now beginning to pick apart the Zero’s policies? He hammered him on the economy and heath care last night.
Maybe OR is being hurt in the wallet. That often seems to me to be the source of his anger, as it should be.
100 black men....
It could be 100 black men of Boston or Chicago or whatever city you want to talk about. 100 black men in America is an organization that works within the black community to help young people and attempt to serve as role models and mentors.
I am in no way a spokesperson for them, but I know of them and what they do, and in general, it is a worthy and worthwhile group of men.
I have no idea what stand 100 Black men of Atanta may take on cap and trade...but I certainly wouldn't accept BB's take on it.
I saw the video last week and thought the same thing. The only reason he was there is that he is head of Black Chamber of Commerce. And then he gets offended because Boxer brings up other black groups. Ma’am Boxer does get it. You are only aloud to be racial if you are black.
