nothing personal but why should taxpayers subsidize your healthcare?

that is the big question here....

unless you are a veteran and can go to a VA or however they provide promised care...which Obama wants to end unless you were a draftee

when I was a kid everyone who did not have healthcare went to county clinic or public/charity hospital

go to Meharry’s emergency room now and no one is there because they know Vandy, St Thomas and Baptist have to take them

this notion that everyone is ENTITLED to the Mayo Clinic level of healthcare is nuts

this is not really directed at you and I agree we have to care for folks so poor they can’t get private insurance but I don’t think that care should be equal or better than those paying just as a matter of fact, it should just be adequate

the dems aren’t pushing theis for charity, they are doing it for political power and once it starts it’s hard to roll back

Did you see THIS?

On Tuesday, the Senate health committee voted 12-11 in favor of a two-page amendment courtesy of Republican Tom Coburn that would require all Members and their staffs to enroll in any new government-run health plan.

In other words, if Harry the Homeless Bum gets in line for Teddy Kennedy's brain surgeon ahead of Teddy Kennedy, then Harry the Homeless Bum STAYS in line for that brain surgeon ahead of Teddy....

Sure he does.
Yeah, this will survive conference....

My statement was to indicate what was wrong with TennCare, I have always paid my medical bills out of pocket because of previous medical conditions, I could not get affordable insurance.....I got on TennCare by accident(I was in the hospital because of a problem, I was aproached by a financial adviser when I told her I didn’t have insurance, she asked me, Would you like to be on TennCare, jokingly I said sure..she asked me did I have $5 dollars, I said yes and gave it to her...she came back an hour later with a letter saying I was turned down for insurance and at that point announced I was on TennCare...) and was amazed by what it covered and yet never required anything of me or anybody else that was on it...Ain’t life amazing...LOL
