This guy needs to be in ads against Death Care.

The story he is telling is horrible.

One thing about GWB, he didn’t shy away from hiring smart people. They didn’t intimidate him the way they do this POS.

If so, I’m going to have a long walk.

Someone tell me please exactly what is so bad in our health care that requires dismantling?

the republicans should ask for time to reply wednesday

read where they are twisting the language to say you can stay in private insurance

then point out that that is a few lines in a thousand page bill - rushed through that WILL FORCE YOU INTO OBAMACARE

the mantra should be ‘the status quo is better than government care’

I have an econ question.

Kathleen Sebelius was on The Daily Show and said health care was 60% of the GDP, how is that compared to the figure they give compared to 16% of the economy?

You are so right.

This clown hires, Biden, Sotomayor, Sebalious, Napalotano etc. All get on the short bus in the morning to the White House.

This about providing cover for dismantling Social Security and Medicare under the cover of some huge umbrella entitlement in order to keep the shell game going on.

This Canadian doctor is stunning to listen to. No American could listen to him and retain their confidence in socialized medicine. Even the true believers, I think, would start to wonder, if only to themselves late at night.

Sibelius misspoke ... Healthcare is expected to rise to 20% of GDP by 2017.

IS the whole presser going to be about health care? I sure hope Tapper or Major G asks hard questiions and O doesn’t take 15 minutes to answer them. What will make me really happy is if he gets mad. He’s so bad at hiding anger and it reflects poorly on him.

That's what I thought. MrsS and I both did a double when she said 60%.

Just another mistake the SRM over looked.

Awesome response. This is a little long for the thread, but it’s Jim DeMint’s response to Obama after O referenced him today in speech:

Today, U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) made the following statement:

“The last time the President made grand promises and demanded passage of a bill before it could be reviewed, we ended up with the colossal stimulus failure and unemployment near 10 percent,” said Senator DeMint.

“Now the President wants Americans to trust him again, but he can’t back up the utopian promises he’s making about a government takeover of health care. He insists his health care plan won’t add to our nation’s deficit despite the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office saying exactly the opposite. And today we learn that the President is refusing to release a critical report on the state of our economy, which contains facts essential to this debate. What is he hiding?

“If the actual legislation came close to matching the President’s rhetoric, he would have no problem passing this bill with huge Democrat majorities in both chambers. But Americans aren’t being fooled and are discovering the truth about his plan which includes rationed care, trillions in new costs, high taxes and penalties that will destroy jobs, and even government-funded abortions.

“Let’s be clear, there is no one in this debate advocating that we do nothing despite the President’s constant straw man arguments. Republicans have offered comprehensive health care reform solutions that cover millions of the uninsured without exploding costs, raising taxes, or rationing care. We can give every American access to a health plan they can own, afford and keep without a government takeover.”
