South Carolina's unemployment rate remained in record territory in June, matching May's all-time high of 12.1 percent, the state Employment Security Commission reported Friday. May's rate was revised slightly to 12 percent. The previously announced rate of 12.1 percent set a state record and was the nation's third highest, behind Michigan and Oregon. In Spartanburg, the jobless rate grew by 0.9 percent to 13.1 percent, up from 12.2 percent.

Maybe they need a foreign exchange program? You know, send people from SC to say Argentina to build hiking trails. People from Argentina to SC to learn about the Fondling Fathers.
We could learn to grow Argentinian corned beef here in the states, and they could learn to grow peaches down there.
