Sen. Barbara Boxer accused of racism by head of Black Chamber of Commerce

Black Chamber of Commerce, President and CEO Harry Alford accuses Senator Boxer (D-CA) of playing race politics during a Senate EPW Committee hearing on green jobs after Sen.Boxer tried to introduce documents contradictory to Mr. Alford from other African-American organizations.

EPW Ranking Member Sen. James Inhofe (D-OK) notes that the NAACP resolution that Sen. Boxer referenced did not actually support the position she was trying to make.

Congress has a large number of morons in its ranks, but none are as imbecilic as Barbara Boxer. She makes a cretin look like a Rhodes Scholar. Her intellectual powers are confined to her brain stem, and she is but dimly aware she is even alive. To say she is vapid is to give lifelessness more animation than it deserves.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

In a sane world, Boxer would have risen no further than assistant clerk at a brassiere boutique in downtown Queens.

You're probably right. I should've given him the benefit of the doubt.

I guess the very concept that a black chamber of commerce exists in the first place struck a Liberal chord with me.

I saw him on O'Really yesterday and he didn't sound like a Lib at all.
