“Ok, let’s take this hypothetical event a little further - what would happen if thousands of armed citizens showed up in Tennessee to support the state and oppose the feds? “

THAT’S EXACTLY what needs to happen. The state is trying to help the citizens to throw off this fraudelent government, led by the biggest FRAUD in history, and they should be given all the help they need. I think then you’d see all the rest of the states would follow suit(except deleware of course).

>>>>Let’s see if zero will try to “isolate” that state for daring to pass and enforce its own laws in contrast to what the government wants<<<<

Rest assured that it will be the REDDEST of Red States that he has NO chance of carrying.

I bet he hits them HARD (attempt to make as an example), then he will rely on his communications Czars (MSM) to ravage them in an attempt to turn public opinion his way.

True, but claiming that every FFL holder in Montana and all LEOs friendly to those FFLs are child molesters will strain credibility somewhat.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m taking this seriously...but these ATF guys are fools if they think that the Montana stste government didn’t consider these possibilities before they passed the bill.

SCOTUS already addressed this case. It's called Stewart, which they resolved by vacating the 9th Circuit verdict on a never-in-interstate-commerce case and telling that court to re-try the case per Raich, which extended the commerce clause so far as to allow federal regulation unto oblivion of a state-legal never-interstate activity/product which was vaguely alleged to REDUCE demand in an ILLEGAL interstate market.

The Governors of the States that pass 10th Amendment support laws need to stand together. When the feds threaten one of the States, the others need to stand up in support.
We need to be aware of what the feds are doing, and what they are thinking of doing. We should locate a sympathetic federal judge (a gun owner) before anything starts to "go down".

Delay tactic: If the feds try to call out the Guard on a State, let the Governor say, "Sorry, we don't have the funds to pay for that (the economy, you know). And until the fed hands over cold hard cash, the Guard will just sit and wait".

This would occur regardless of whose administration is in power.

These people are WAY out of control.

The next step would be for ALL Sheriffs in TN to revoke their MOU’s with the BATF.

If the conservatives you cite are put off by the show because of its dirty jokes, that's too bad for them. They should look a little deeper. As should you.

Much more closely aligned to the libertarian way of thinking... While I won't go so far as to say they're pro-abortion, they're certainly not anti-abortion (remember, it was an abortion that saved the world from the anti-christ!). And they're 100% against the war on drugs, two planks of the platform that most "conservatives" hold dear. And then, let's not forget that they're just a wee bit disrespectful and dismissive of religion as well, all of them pretty much getting kicked now and then, though the episode where it was revealed that "The Mormons are right!" was quite a hoot!

And as I said in my post, I happen to love the show, and have been a huge fan since season 1. But I wouldn't call the show "conservative."

Probably the same thing that happened in Little Rock, Arkansas and in Alabama during the 50s and 60s during the forced school integration dust-up. Federal troops and US Marshals will descend up the place en masse.

For that to work it took lots of brainwashing and graphic TV imagery, with clear victims and villains, to gain public support for the feds coming in. So, until we see some kind of horrors in Tennessee, the victims and the villains, nothing like 50s & 60s federal intervention will take place. That's basically their SOP for that kind of intervention.

Even for the comparatively tiny assault on Davidians in Waco, it was preceded in the weeks ahead by a flood of horrific child abuse rumors peddled by local media. At that time, several days before the attack, I was discussing in a Compuserve newsmedia Forum the media propaganda techniques and happen to use anti-Koresh articles from AP as an excellent illustration and transparent example of their techniques, suggesting that something bad will happen to these guys soon. Several days later the assault took place and I was treated like a prophet in that group from there on.

But I wouldn't call the show "conservative."

I would and did, especially when compared to the standard liberalism-infused TV fare.

Mike Judge's new series is more overtly conservative than South Park, though.

MAN I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE POSTING ANYTHING FROM THE U.N...............BUT HERE IT IS:

Universal Declaration of Human Rights Preamble

On December 10, 1948 the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted and proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights the full text of which appears in the following pages.
Following this historic act the Assembly called upon all Member countries to publicize the text of the Declaration and “to cause it to be disseminated, displayed, read and expounded principally in schools and other educational institutions, without distinction based on the political status of countries or territories.”

PREAMBLE
Whereas recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world,

Whereas disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts which have outraged the conscience of mankind, and the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom of speech and belief and freedom from fear and want has been proclaimed as the highest aspiration of the common people,

Whereas it is essential, if man is not to be compelled to have recourse, as a last resort, to rebellion against tyranny and oppression, that human rights should be protected by the rule of law,

Whereas it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations,

Whereas the peoples of the United Nations have in the Charter reaffirmed their faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights of men and women and have determined to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom,

Whereas Member States have pledged themselves to achieve, in co-operation with the United Nations, the promotion of universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms,

Whereas a common understanding of these rights and freedoms is of the greatest importance for the full realization of this pledge,

Now, Therefore THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY proclaims THIS UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS as a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations, to the end that every individual and every organ of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to promote respect for these rights and freedoms and by progressive measures, national and international, to secure their universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of Member States themselves and among the peoples of territories under their jurisdiction.

When the Supreme Court ruled in Worcester vs. Georgia that he had no right to do this, he is said to have ... “John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it.” You’re right - same thing applies here.
