because the founders knew this was bound to happen and that "peaceful means" would be futile ?

Sure, but they also spoke of what we would call "deterance". That is that the existance of an armed populace would deter the worst abuses. Looks like the may have been wrong. We've got upwards of 80 million armed Americans, guns are flying off the shelves, people are stocking up on massive amounts of ammunition, and still the clueless continue the march to Tyranny.

Of course the British didn't pay attention to all those Rubes in the Hinterland either. Boy were they wrong.

There's a reason guns and ammunition have been flying off the shelves since "the one" and ACORN stole the election: At least some with common sense have come to realize that the government no longer speaks for them, and has openly become their enemy.

This government is stealing our freedoms, the fruits of our labors, and our choices for healthcare, education, etc.. on a daily basis.

Many are quietly drawing the line in their own minds. They may not be speaking of "revolution" but I darn sure do think they're preparing for it.

Others (such as .. oh, myself) openly talk about it because I understand that I'm not supposed to fear the Government, the Government is supposed to fear US. That's what the founding fathers intended.

The founding fathers understood that they were the last line of defense between a cowering public, too afraid to fight the King, and the freedoms they sought not just for themselves, but for all those who came to this country with them. Fast forward to today, Patriots are the last line of defense between this tyrannical government and our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.

I'm frankly embarassed by some posters on this thread who don't get that simple point.

Our founding fathers didn't "work within King George's system" to try and make change. Once they realized that the King didn't care about them, their rights, their families, or the fruits of their labors they rebelled - and rightfully so.

In the meantime, those of us who support a revolution are being called "radicals" and worse. For that, I say THANK YOU! I count that a compliment in the spirt of Jefferson, Madison, Adams, Henry and Franklin. To those who think my (and others) views on this thread are "radical" I don't think the founding fathers would've given much thought about you or those who stand idly by, defend this government and preach "We have to do this Constitutionally" while this Government continues to tear down our Constitution on a daily basis. Did the Founding Fathers work within King Georges' "system?" HELL NO. They recognized CORRUPTION when they saw it, what in the hell is wrong with you?

I mean my God in Heaven, the People of Honduras understood it when their Constitution was being violated by their tyrannical ruler, what is wrong with people on this very form that they can't see that Obama is doing the exact same thing?
