I’m trying to see the downside in this (I was never good at seeing a liberal’s point of view....ever). See you in DC, and oh. Thanks Jim Thompson. It was fun watching your detractors heads explode.

Setting the constitution aside?

There is no mechanism to implement what you are asking without going outside of the constitution as I know it. The Democrats will not resign in mass nor will the Republicans even if we had 30,000,000 people there. So then what? I mean really.

The goals you state are the goals of most of us, and I want to see them implemented. I don't want to give these people justification to give us the Iranian treatment.

I have attended Tea Parties, and I was there in Washington for two of the GOE counter protests and I am as gung ho as any here, but I know the way is through candidates, primaries, securing local offices and the Secretary of State offices in the States just as the opposition already discovered.

To be a conservative radical is to be ready to see the rules followed and then push up the requirement that justice, freedom and the rule of law are the basis for our society. We need to do our own Community Organizing. Organizing at the local, state and national levels so that we have judges and prosecutors who are not corrupt, that will draw up charges against the criminals and then watch the rats run.

Frankly, Obama is imploding. As he should. The anger you feel is all across our country and this needs to be felt at the ballot box this fall, and again in 2010.

I love that you have built this place for folks like us to share our thoughts and not be alone. Don't be the author of its destruction by getting impatient.

Does Obama really understand a Michael Jackson or A-Rod? We know he lauds these types only as much as they produce revenue for the welfare state. But if socialism is to have its logical conclusion, what would be the government job description for Michael Jackson? Drum Major in the White House band? What would be his pay grade? G-15? Would he make more than Sootomayor?
One of the tragic flaws of Michael Jackson, drug abuse, allowed him to travel in circles of unbridled freedom, and unlimited income. Too bad that such freedom is lethal for those prone to sin.

Hillary has at least twice the intelligence, twice the patriotism and twice the balls of Obama.

Other than that, she is Secretary of State and is 4th in succession to the presidency and we just fired 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in line: Biden, Pelosi, and Byrd.

Someone else has suggested we also fire the Secretaries of State and Treasury, leaving Gates as the next in line and successor to the presidency.

This is the same do-nothing, wait for our ‘leaders’ in the Republican Party to save us, lie down with the lions type thinking that got us here in the first place.

I don’t want an armed revolt but we must stand against what is happening, loudly! Violence will not be necessary if we JUST LET THEM SEE AND FEEL OUR DISCONTENT WITH WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

If they don’t hear from us they will only hear their own corrupt, statist voices—then, we lose.

I don’t care if they fear an armed revolt—I want them to know fear. What, an armed insurrection could NEVER happen?

It’s only freedom we’re talking about, right? No big deal. Millions have died giving it to us but we can afford to lose a little to avoid PISSING OFF THE POLITICIANS, RIGHT?

What’s wrong with you people?!

Screw that! And screw all you who would have us lay wait for permission to exist and to own something.

You’re no better than the left.

A third of this country didn’t want to fight King George either. We now know which third you would have sided with.

If I’m mistaken, if this isn’t really about freedom, if this isn’t really about the fundamentals then, please forgive me.

But I sincerely believe the threat is real, is real-time and is ready to pounce.

Should those PEOPLE who ‘represent’ us be confident that we will NEVER take drastic measures against them to defend our paychecks and basic freedoms? What’s the problem with destroying our system of government then? No one will have the eggs to fight back so it’s anything goes.

Whatever 0bama wants, he will get, because we’re happy to wait passively for the next election.

That’s not how it works, folks!

They seek to inimidate and coerce you daily, Americans. Don’t forget that they are supposed to be WORKING FOR YOU, not WORKING TO INJECT FEAR IN YOU.

We must communicate all the angst, anger, frustration and fear that we are feeling.

If we sit idle, like sheep, they will have their way with us.

Those of you resting heavily on the constitution are going to get a big surprise.

They obviously don’t give a damn about the document because they are defying it in new ways by the minute.

It’s just ink and parchment if their is no flesh ‘n blood American ready and willing to give it meaning.

Fight, or lose you freedom.

It’s that simple.

These people don’t care about you, or your damn constitution.

They want your money and your passivity.

They’re willing to do whatever it takes to get it.

You on the other hand are willing to put forth the extreme, omnipotent power of your vote, and that’s it.

Well, thank you for that, but I’m afraid we’ll need a bit more to stave off this brand of power monger.

Fight, or go home and try to cope with your losses—they will be many in the comming years.

when you do the math for us math challenged types, it seems perfectly logical (and legal).

Frankly, the Soros bunch who caused this bought the Democrat party. For us, we can have the Republican Party for free if we are willing to sit in the seats and do the work.

There is so much generalized someone else should do it anger out there, but in fact. If we want it changed, we have to do it our selves but we have to remember that there are rules and they do work. The Alynsky stuff only works when folks fall for it. It is just a manipulation. The sitting there and looking angry stuff you are advancing is like a Napoleonic set point battle that the Civil War Generals kept hoping for but never got. It was Sherman and Grant, slug slug slug that won because they knew it was the long haul that mattered.

You have to preserve the system to have it when you are done or you are just another power seeking tyrant.

I was educated by his words.

I believe you interpreted his words and jumped to some unfounded conclusions...if you are talking about that one post.

Btw, how do you educate yourself of someone who uses a psuedonym?

The same way I did...get to know him, interact with him, and ultimately you will come to find out who he is. Besides, with him and the books he has written and which have been reviewed here on FR over the years...with a minimum amount of work, it's moot anyway. As anothe rposter pointed out, he's Matthew Bracken and his views and involvement are easy enough to come by.

doing so, or at least attempting to, IMHO, is just common decency before disparaging someone. But that's just me.

...and you've been around here longer than me, since '97 and I came in '98. You know all this stuff.

The recourse is found in the Declaration of Independence. The Founders gave us clear instructions that Despotic government should be abolished or altered. All I’m suggesting is that we restore constitutional government. The only alteration I’m proposing is repealing the two amendments that created the environment for this tyrannical socialist disaster in the first place and I’m sure that if we get millions of people involved and the support of the sovereign states, we could do that through a constitutional convention. And if we have the support of millions of people and of the sovereign states and the government does NOT meet our demands, then we simply vote the bastards out! Simple! No more pussyfooting with TYRANTS!!

But first, we’ve got to get our point across.

Millions Marching on D.C. ought to lay the groundwork for that!

I go farther, we must work with all of our energy to find and elevate candidates to replace these bastards now without worrying about waiting for them to notice or not whether we gather in Washington.

The Declaration of Independence is a call to action. A reminder of what is tyranny just as you say. It doesn't provide the means or the legal basis for action, but it does tell us when and why.

In this you are right.

The bastards that need replacing now are the people running the Republican Party. And if you would ask them, they would point to hundreds of positions needing filled in every state, tens of thousands nationwide. Soros bought folks into these positions and other radicals did the same.. it took them election cycles to create this situation in the Democrat party. We have our passion and our hard hardheadedness to never be bought or sold. This is our strength. In Washington, the charge needs to be go home. Take control of your local Republican Clubs, precincts and party apparatus. Join the Election boards, sign up as poll observers. It is too late to put up candidates for this fall so what is must be.

But, lets get smart. Lets get effective. If you want to repeal Amendments there is a process. Lets get real and do the right thing for real.

Seems a worthy agenda item...get representatives of the 50 Gov's (it's in their own self interest) at the rally (if it's the Sept rally). A pre-mailing effort would do wonders. Constitutional Convention...yep...doable. Implementation of the 'get millions involved' is beyond my pay grade. gonna need more than FReepers, too!

“You have to preserve the system...”

Listen, we don’t have the power to preserve the system.

They are seeking to alter the system and they have the power to do so.

If they do, THE SYSTEM ISN’T THE SAME SYSTEM ANY MORE, GET IT?

How can any reasonable person look at the past ten years in this country and be so confident that ‘the system’ will be there for them?

It’s lunacy! Just put the gun to your head and pull the trigger, why don’t you?

Did I miss something in my studies of our system? Is it infallible? It is unchangeable?

The founders were much less confident, much less bold, than you and your ilk.

“A republic, madam, if you can keep it” BF

This country needs far more than a constitution to remain a free country, or, again, am I missing something?

“...we have to do it our selves but we have to remember that there are rules and they do work.”

Rules work when all involved obide by them.

Rules work when pain follows breaking them.

The politicians are the ones not following the rules.

Who’s minding their pain?

“The sitting there and looking angry stuff you are advancing...”

I’m not advancing ‘sitting there’ at all, you are doing this.

“You have to preserve the system...”

Precisely. This is why I want to stand against these people.

We have been doing what you are advocating for some time now, is it working, yes, or no?

You should be working with 0bama helping him to create a ‘Passivity Czar’.

He’d love your idea of disengaged non-resistance.

That's what the RICO statutes were for! Unfortunately, the 'lioness at the gate' are all the bribe recipients. Even Hillary might not help you here! Wonder who in Soros World Intitutes RICO would go after? He practiced on the UK and won, Appparently has won here...China next?

“Lets get real and do the right thing for real.”

No one is coming, dalight!

We do not have representation.

No one is fighting back.

WE MUST DO MORE THAN VOTE EVERY TWO, OR FOUR YEARS!

If you love your power to vote so much I’d think you would be ‘up in arms’ over the Census, Acorn, voter fraud and other assorted following of the ‘rules’.
