This is not without precedent. The raid on the Osirak reactor was thought to be a one way mission. The pilots knew they may not make it back, considering their fuel load, low altitude flying, and distance. Knowing the risk, they did it anyway. They were successful in destroying the reactor and returning safely. Never doubt their resolve and ability to achieve the seemingly impossible....especially when their existence is at stake.

It was good all eight F-16 pilots returned home safe.

But such will not be the case for the Sayaret Matkal commandos.
